On the Way to Cape May, Weekend Getaway
Want a break between the duties of family holiday celebrations? Want to make a quilt for someone special for a gift? Want to learn to embellish or create more texture on a quilt with fabric? Or do you just want to spend some quality time sewing?
Join in on the fun of flanged blocks! This unique pattern is for intermediate level quilters and beyond. We will review tips and tricks and details to pay attention to during the process to increase ease of completion. We have various kits and patterns available for purchase here. If you have a jelly roll you aren't quite sure what to do with, this is the perfect project! Or, do you have a feature fabric you'd like to highlight? This is a great project for that too!
We'll do instruction at the beginning of each day and then you will have free sewing afterward with help as needed. There's a nice loop to walk here in town if you need a break during the day. Hours are Saturday, 9am - 5pm and Sunday, 9am - 3:30 pm. Don't let the hours scare you; we will start promptly, but end time is up to your tolerance.
