Faux Chenille Workshop
Participants will learn two methods of creating chenille fabric and can incorporate it in a pillow, wrap on a canvas or begin a quilt. Any of these would make a great, unique gift for someone.
Start off the morning with a demonstration of the technique at 9am and spend the rest of your time working on your project of choice. Doors will open at 8:30 for you to have your machine and sewing area set up and ready for prompt starting at 9am.
Materials needed will depend upon the project you choose. Feel free to call 603-313-4912 and we can discuss ideas if you have something specific in mind.

| Instructor Bio: | Shelley has been working within the quilting industry since 2017, working alongside and learning from some great teachers. Having sewn for a number of years while working part-time and raising her two boys, homeschooling them for a portion of that time, her focus has been on time saving techniques that don't reduce accuracy or precision while still enjoying a relaxed approach to the process. It all began with reading a book that showed what an amazing community quilters can create together. She decided she needed quilters in her life and signed up for her first class. Enjoying the process, she started making projects, taking more classes, going on retreats, getting a job in a quilt shop, was a founding member of a local quilt guild and now owns her own shop. Helping customers with fabric and working in the classroom sharing this amazing hobby with others is where happiness blossoms. |
